Full Moon Musings January 2022: Wolf Moon

This Year, Lose Some Weight

The weight of the concrete you spread over your truth, your voice and your feelings
The heaviness of the cement you pour over your instincts, your senses and your heart
Your body and your mind need to remember who you are
Let your beauty grow, so your life can benefit from the medicine you are

Welcome to this month’s musing and a New Year!
Firstly, apologies for the slight delay in sending this out (hello tax return) and missing the Full Moon. The moon is still pretty majestic so I am being kind to myself and call this the ‘Full Moon Week’. This is just a fairly brief hello, starting with some powerful words from Brigit Anna McNeill. They are very timely I think in this month of resolutions and diets and wardrobe sort outs. How refreshing to think about shedding emotional heaviness rather than physical weight?

I feel a bit like this little hedgehog, emerging from a cosy box out into the wide world. I can feel that although we are still in the depths of winter, things are waking up; the birds are a little more noisy in the hedgerows, we have just got to get through February and then Spring will be on the way! Personally I love January with its empty timetable and dark evenings. It is a time of knitting and mending and having a bit of a sort out. My family are less keen!

Behind the scenes I am preparing to launch booking for the retreats we are offering in 2022. Email subscribers will be the first to hear when we open these events for booking on the website. I am delighted to be able to share with you details of the teaching at each of the workshops and Boconnoc Retreats.

So far, the plan for 2022 looks like this:

Darning Woollen Garments (pm)
These half day workshops will be led by me and are bookable through the Clothkits Website:https://www.clothkits.co.uk

As those who have been on an ANOGM retreat know: the retreats are not just about the creating: We have wonderful Yoga with Kate, additional workshops inspired by the main classes, walks, cake, swimming, chat, laughter, friendship and did I mention cake?! The Boconnoc Retreats are designed so that you can attend Retreat One or Two, or both!

Please keep an eye out for emails from me in the next couple of weeks: I will let you know as soon as the website is live for bookings. We will be taking the full payment for the weaving workshop, and deposits for Boconnoc.

And with that, I will wish you all a wonderful  weekend ahead.

With love
