Boconnoc, Cornwall, UK.
Retreat 1: Saturday 16th-Tuesday 19th October 2021
Retreat 2: Tuesday 19th- Friday 22nd October 2021
Or why not treat yourself to both retreats and make it a week with our combined retreat package!
We are so excited to have the opportunity to bring A Nest of Gentle Makers to Boconnoc House. https://www.boconnoc.com/. This beautiful country house estate is the perfect place to relax in comfort whilst feeding your creativity. There will be creative workshops, walks, yoga, maybe some swimming and plenty of time to connect and chat. They will be intimate retreats of 9-12 guests. Each retreat is a half week and we will have different guest teachers for the two retreats so it would be completely possible (and rather wonderful) if you wished to join us for the whole week.
The retreat attendees will each have a separate bedroom (or shared room if attending with someone in your social bubble). We will adhere to social distancing guidelines. In the event of cancellation due to Covid-19 we will offer a full refund or the ability to come on a rescheduled retreat at Boconnoc.
Boconnoc house is a hidden treasure in Cornwall, SW England. Boconnoc Estate and Manor were taxed in the Domesday Roll in 1086 and has a long and fascinating history. It has provided accommodation for Kings and Prime Ministers and has been owned by the Fortescue family since 1864.
Attendees will be staying in the main house, each person will have their own bedroom, unless you wish to share with a member of your household or support bubble. Bedrooms have sumptuous duvets, crisp white linen and contemporary design. Relax in the fluffy bathrobes and enjoy the organic toiletries in the bathrooms.
The house sleeps a maximum of 19 guests and our retreat will be limited to 12 guests to ensure social distancing so there will be plenty of space. Days will be spent making at our creative workshops and exploring the estate. Evenings you can curl up with a book in the library, or chat in front of the fire.
We will have our resident yogi Kate on hand to guide us gently through our yoga practice. Whether it is energising yoga in the the morning to get our creative pulses racing, or slowing down with restorative yoga in the afternoon, Kate will make the most of this beautiful space to give you the best experience possible.
